Experience the thrill of the Great Migration on this 3-Days Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari. Join a group tour and witness iconic wildlife, including the Big Five and millions of wildebeest crossing the plains. Enjoy game drives, cultural visits to a Maasai village, and breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley.
Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to the floor of the Great Rift valley where we make the first stop to enjoy a breathtaking scenery of the great escarpment. We then drive to Narok Town where we make a short second stop before we continue the journey to Masai Mara to arrive for lunch. 1600hrs: Afternoon game viewing drive later head back to camp for dinner and overnight stay. Afternoon game viewing drive. Lake Nakuru national park also serves as a sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos, and offers a good shot at spotting baboons, lions, gazelles, and the elusive leopard, among others.

Depart with picnic boxes for a full day game viewing drive. This day you will enjoy unlimited game drives in the park. You will have a chance to see all the Big Five. The wildebeest and accompanying zebra, gazelle, eland and topi make up the bulk of the migration, but they are not the only players. Lions, hyenas, leopards and other predators take full advantage of the passing and exploit every opportunity in search of a decent meal!!
A newly born wildebeest will be on its feet and walking around within 3 minutes, running with the herd within 5 minutes and able to outrun a predator shortly thereafter.
After a days’ exhilarating game viewing drive return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Breakfast then check out and depart for Nairobi. Stop over at Narok, a rich Masai town and have a chance to buy souvenirs from the locals. Arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
Optional Masai Village tour: A visit to a Maasai Boma is an interesting experience. Get a flavor for the daily life in the Mara. As you arrive at the village, excited children and adults welcome you with song and dance, at certain times, one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The jumps are several feet high! Learn the culture of the masai tribe.
